Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity Cruises are known for being a cut above the rest.
Often revered by such publications as Conde Naste Traveler,
Celebrity's ships offer some of the roomiest accommodations,
excellent cuisine, fine amenities, and a wide variety of
activities and excursions.
Fine service is the name of the game on Celebrity Cruises. With
one staff member for every two guests, staff has an opportunity
to get to know guests personally and you'll find that they go the
extra mile to turn your trip into the perfect vacation.
If you're looking for a noisy cruise filled with energetic
passengers that are content to play all day, this may not be the
cruise line for you. You'll certainly have fun on a Celebrity
Cruise, but the atmosphere is a bit different than, perhaps,
cruise lines such as Carnival.
On a Celebrity Cruise, you can enjoy an informative lecture on
the cultural history of the Caribbean, visit an art auction, do a
bit of wine tasting, or even attend a performance of Cirque du
Soleil. Guests can hone their golf game while on board or indulge
in acupuncture or other spa treatments to relieve the stress of
everyday life.
That doesn't mean that Celebrity isn't family-friendly. While you'll
tend to find fewer kids on this line than on some other cruise
lines, the staffs of Celebrity ships are certainly attentive to
children. The Celebrity X-Club Youth Program offers age-specific
activities for children and youth and Celebrity Cruises even
boasts "children-only" parts of the ship where adult
presence is a no-no. Teens have their own areas as well and there's
even a children's program for those who wish to leave their kids
onboard while enjoying a shore excursion that may not be
appropriate for the little ones.
Celebrity boasts some of the highest-rated ships to ever sail the
seas. Their acclaimed Millennium-class ships have all been
introduced since 2000 and both the 965-foot Infinity and
Constellation are continually lauded for their first-class
amenities, activities, cuisine, and decor. Celebrity also offers
the Xpedition, a small ship that holds only 94 passengers and
sails the Galapagos Islands, giving guests an up-close look that
larger ships can't provide.
Celebrity's destinations are quite diverse and in addition to the
Caribbean, Bermuda, Hawaii, Alaska, Canada/New England, and
Mexico, interested travelers can book exciting cruises to South
America, with visits to enticing ports in Brazil, Argentina,
Chile, and Ecuador; the beautiful Pacific Northwest including
British Columbia; the magnificent Panama Canal; and even a
Transatlantic Cruise, a 12-day dream trip departing from Fort
Lauderdale and ending in Barcelona, Spain.
